Joseph Donahue, age 88, of Toms River, formerly of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, died on January 27, 2021 of Parkinson’s Disease.

He is predeceased by the love of his life, Eileen Sullivan Donahue and survived by 7 children, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a retired Lithographer.

He was involved in many community service projects, including Mother Teresa’s Soup Kitchen in the Bronx. He and Eileen started a Meals on Wheels program in the 1970’s. He was a frequent blood and apheresis donor, and member of the “10-gallon club”. Since moving to Toms River in 1998, Joe served as an EMT, former captain, on the Silver Ridge North First Aid Squad.

Joe was a communicant of St. John’s Parish in Lakehurst, volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound and helped with the “coffee and” fellowship ministry.
