Joseph S. Torrisi passed away on April 26, 2021 at the age of 96.
He was born in Highland Park to Sebastian and Sara Torrisi. Joseph served proudly as a Corpsman in World War II and the Korean War in the US Navy.
Joseph was a hairdresser at Torrisi’s Beauty Salan and a dental ceramist. He was a talented musician and played for many years as a drummer in the Imperial Band of South River.
He is predeceased in death by his loving parents, Sara and Sebastian Torrisi, his brother, Diego Torrisi, and his nephew, Christopher Torrisi. Surviving are his brother, Victor and sister-in-law, Suzanne Torrisi, his niece and nephew, Laura and Bill Biel, his niece, Karen Torrisi, and great nephews, Casey and Alex Biel and cousin, Mary Ann Costa.
