Joseph Santa Barbara, 87, of Orange, beloved husband of 65 years to Marie Cusano Santa Barbara, passed away at Golden Hills Health Care Center in Milford on Thursday February 10, 2011. Father of James (Barbara) Santa Barbara of Milford. Grandfather of James (Eileen) Santa Barbara Jr. of Fairfield. Great Grandfather of Olivia and Lauren Santa Barbara. Brother of Theresa Mulvey of Hamden and the late Julia Papini, Mary Marcucci, Elizabeth Cipullo, Madeline Konesky, Amelia Signore, John, Thomas, Louis, Anthony and Pasquale Santa Barbara. Predeceased by his grandson John Santa Barbara. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was born in New Haven, July 31, 1923, son of the late Dominick and Mary Ann Gianelli Santa Barbara. He was a retired machinist for the Burndy Courporation. Joe was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, boating, water and snow skiing.
