Joseph Randall “Joe” Moore – 65, of Shalimar, FL, and native of Athens, GA, passed away on November 11, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Pogue Moore; daughter, Lisa Morgan of Shalimar, FL; son, Michael “Mike” Pogue of Shalimar, FL; three grandchildren, Chelsea Morgan, Dalton Harrison and Camden Harrison; brother, James R. Moore of Crawford, GA; 3 sisters, Jane Higgins of Royston, GA, Faye Witcher of Hartwell, GA, and Connie Moore Autry of Athens, GA. Joe also is survived by an abundance of family who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucy J. Moore and Cecil W. Moore; and two brothers, Donald Moore and Hubert Moore, all formerly of Athens, GA.
Joe was retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant and served in Vietnam. He most recently worked for the Okaloosa County School system, from which he retired in 2005.
