Joseph P. Ricciardone was 84 when he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Wednesday October 15, 2014. Born in Hackensack, Joseph lived most of his life in Hackensack before moving to New Milford 32 years ago. He was a proud member of the National Association of Letter Carriers working as a Letter Carrier in Hackensack for 35 years with the United States Postal Service before retiring in 1989. Joseph served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean Campaign.
He was the beloved husband of Pauline (nee D’Alessio), the loving father of Anthony Bargellini, Joseph Bargellini and his wife Susann Varano, and Maria Rotondo and her husband John. Joseph was the cherished brother of Michael Ricciardone and prededeased by his late sister Mary Ferraro. He was the devoted grandfather of Faith and Victoria Bargellini.
