Joseph P. Ciaravino of Ocean
Joseph P. Ciaravino, 65, passed away on July 14, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Philip “Joe” and Eleanora “Gloria” (Badalamente) Ciaravino.
Joseph had previously live in New Fairfield, CT before moving to Ocean about 15 years ago. He had proudly served as fire lieutenant for the FDNY and retired after 25 years. Joseph was educated as an engineer and was brilliant working with his hands. His prize possession was his 1965 Chevrolet Corvette which he loving rebuilt by hand on his own. His car would go on to win countless awards, recognizing its beauty as well as the craftsmanship Joseph put into it. Those who knew him, would say he was loving, kind, smart and always joking around.
Surviving is his loving sister, Marguerite Zamfotis of Atlantic Highlands; his nephew and nieces and their spouses: Greg and Shalaine Zamfotis of NY, Dina and Loukas Kasekas of Westfield and Kristin Zamfotis of NY, who will all miss him dearly.
