Joseph N. Schepp, 98 of La Salle, died at 2:56 am October 26, 2015 at Illinois Veterans Home at La Salle.
Mr. Schepp was born in La Salle on August 28, 1917 to Peter and Anastasia (Wawryzniak) Schepp. He married Frances Konczal on November 19, 1949. He served with the US Army during WWII in the European Theater from 1942 until 1945. Mr. Schepp retired as a switchman from the Rock Island-Chicago-Pacific Railroad. He loved the outdoors.
Mr. Schepp is survived by one daughter, Karen Schepp of La Salle; one sister Eleanor Johnson of Utica. He is preceded in death by his wife in 2007, two sisters, Marie Ksiazkiewicz and Helen Kowalski, two brothers, Martin and Edward Schepp.
