Joseph Milan “Mike” Kos, age 90, of North Windham, CT, beloved husband of Helen Bousa Kos, passed away on December 11, 2016 at Windham Hospital. He was born in Scotland, CT, the son of the late Joseph Kos and Emily Penkava Kos. He moved from Scotland to North Windham at the age of 12 and has lived in the same neighborhood since. He built a home when he married and raised his family there.

In addition to his wife of 65 years he is survived by his daughter, Cynthia of East Hartford, and sons, Joseph Michael of Windham and Gerald of Irvine, CA; sisters Edith Klemark of Brooklyn and Mildred Miller and her husband Ray of Miami FL, and nephews John and Roy Miller. He also leaves brother-in-law Joseph Bousa and wife Jean and nephews Edward and John Bousa.

Joseph attended Windham High School and enlisted in the US Army Air Force in 1944 and served until late 1946.
