Joseph M. Griffin 49 of Port St Lucie, Florida passed away August 30, 2021, at home.
Joe was born and raised in Griffith, IN. Joe moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1992. He worked at Winn Dixie when he first arrived here and then worked at BJ’s Wholesale Club before finally driving for Lyft, which he truly enjoyed.
He is survived by his wife Karen Griffin; his sons, Raymond (RJ) Griffin and Aaron Griffin of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his mother Diane Kirby of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his sister Shellie Griffin of Stuart, Florida; stepbrothers Michael (Julie) Kirby of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Rob Kirby of Olney, IL; step-sister Patty (Mike) Williams of Port Orange, Florida; God Father Mickey Fische of Munster, IN; God Mother Delores Astrew of Spring, TX; Godson Anthonie Griffin of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many more cousins.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Raymond Griffin, stepfather Robert Kirby, maternal grandparents Wilburn and Delores Beard, and Paternal grandparents Raymond and Inez Griffin.
