Joseph Michael Earley, 47, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away December 31, 2019. He was born May 18, 1972, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Michael Earley and Judith (Johnson) Earley. Joseph worked at Eli Lilly/Elanco for 19 years. He retired from the Army National Guard as a SSGT, was deployed on two active duty tours in Iraq; one during Desert Shield and also aided in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. His military career was his life. Joseph was a life time member of VFW 972 and also American Legion Post 104. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Joseph is survived by his father Michael Earley (Bernedia) his sons Jarrett R.M. Earley, Justin P.J. Earley, and Joseph E. Earley; the mother of his children Angela Poff; step son Gage Pohlman; siblings Wesley D. Earley (Christian), Trina J. Earley, Shawn R. Hadley, Julia S. Pittman and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith A. Earley, and sister Christina Pritchard Gifford.
