Joe McKamie, Jr. passed away April 21, 2017 in Bakersfield, CA. He was born and raised in Taft and graduated from Taft Union High School in 1948. Joe married Sue Neely in 1949. He worked for ARCO for 35 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Cathy & Andy Freeny and Julie & Tim Watts, and his sister Leora Bleven of Taft, four grandsons; Chris & Erika McKamie, Kirk & Michelle Watts, Clint & Amanda Watts, and Eric Wehunt, and five Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Louise McKamie and his wife Sue McKamie.
