Joseph Maugeri of Eastampton, formerly of Burlington died Wednesday July 15, 2015 at Capital Health in Trenton at the age of 73. Born in Mt. Holly, Joe was a longtime Burlington resident. He was a sales manager for Lucas Ford in Burlington until his retirement.
Joe was a past Captain and President of the Endeavor Emergency Squad and a past President of the Endeavor Fire Co., a past Foreman (Captain) of the Neptune Hose Co., and a member of the Hope Fire Co., all in Burlington City. He was a past President of the Burlington County First Aid Council and a Chapter Chairman of the Burlington County Chapter of the American Red Cross. He was a member and past President of the Kiwanis Club of Burlington and of the Burlington/Florence Jacees.
He was a former member of the Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F&AM in Bordentown and a member and chairman of the Pastor/Parish Relations Committee of the Pemberton United Methodist Church. Joe is survived by his wife Brenda Maugeri, his step-daughters Jaime Sanchez of Hainesport, Danielle Sanchez of Browns Mills and Tammy Sanchez of Browns Mills, his sons Joseph, Jr., Dean and Mark, all of Burlington, his grandchildren Antonio, Janya, Jiada, Juelyana, Bryn, Jasmine, Jordan, Anthony, Dean, Mark, Nicole and Krista. He is also survived by his brother and sister in law Alfred and Elena Maugeri of Maple Shade, his nephew Adrian and his special companion, his dog Papi.
