Joseph M. O’Connell Jr. 72 of Toms River, NJ died on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Born in Wilmington, Delaware he lived in Hatfield, Pennsylvania before moving to the Toms River area 8 years ago. Joseph was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He worked as an agent and then in the maintenance department for Amtrak in New York.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph M. Sr. and Frances nee Ward and his sister Mary Mezzatesta. He is survived by his sister Elaine Weber of West Grove, Pa. Two brothers; Thomas J. O’Connell of Bear, Del., and John D. O’Connell of Centreville, Va. His longtime companion Debbie Cutchin of Toms River, NJ.
