Albany, IN. – Joseph M. Davis, 74, of Albany, Indiana passed away on October 3, 2017 at I.U.
Joseph was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 7, 1943 to the late Byron and Helen (Ratliff) Davis.
He graduated from Muncie central High School and Electronic Computer Programming Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. Joseph served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a Vice President and data processing officer at American National Bank and Trust Company. Joseph was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He loved to teach his grandchildren how to play computer games and how to hunt and fish. Joseph loved to travel, especially to the Smokey Mountains with his wife Judy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother; Jack Horner.
Joseph is survived by his wife of over fifty years Judy (Brand) Davis; children, Jeff (Christina) Davis, Julie (Jerry) Pierce, Jennifer (Buck) Caudill, Jill (Jim) Burge; grandchildren, Ashley Pierce, Jeremy Pierce, James Pierce, Cody Pierce, Jeffrey Davis, Jessica Shaw, Justin Robinson, Jessica Myers, Devin Caten, Hailey Caten; great grandchildren, Levi Shaw, Jacob Myers; nephews, Kirk Horner, Gene Perry.
