Joseph Lee Carver, Jr. Joseph Lee Carver, Jr., better known as Joey to his friends and family, passed away on June 29, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital after an extended illness. He was 71 years old. Joey was born in Atlanta, GA on October 5, 1947 to the late Joseph Lee Carver, Sr. and the late Alice Joyce Parkman Carver. He worked for over 30 years as a master plumber for Professional Plumbing Company and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the 101st Airborne Division. He is survived by his sister, Cathy Carver; and his girlfriend, Betty Chandler.
