Joseph Landis, 45, of Duff Avenue, Clarksburg, passed away suddenly on October 1, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Landis was born in Charleston on April 9, 1965 a son of the late Orville P. and Shirley Gilbert Landis. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Hendricks Landis, whom he married on June 24, 2009; three children, Matthew Landis, Clarksburg, Jessica Jones and Robert, Clarksburg, and Ashley Murphy and Justin, Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Carolyn Jones, Robert Joseph Jones and Kaden Murphy; one brother, Bobby Jewel, Virginia, and Helen Miller and Bubba, Clarksburg; one niece, Jessica Miller; and two nephews, Brandon Miller and Robert Kurbaba. Mr. Landis was a United States Navy Veteran. He liked to play computer games and video games and loved spending time with his family. At his request, Mr. Landis will be cremated.
