Joseph L. ManziJoseph L. Manzi of Burlington Township died Friday September 24th at his residence; he was 75 years of age. Born in Burlington on October 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Joseph & Ethel Manzi and was also predeceased by his brother Vincent Manzi. Joe is survived by his wife Angeline K. (nee Cannuli) Manzi, his son and daughter in law: Kevin & Barbara Manzi of Springfield Twp., NJ, his daughter Kim Manzi of Vitorchiano, Italy, and his grandson and wife Christopher and Sarah Ann Manzi of Pleasant Hill, CA. A lifetime Burlington resident, Joe was educated in the Burlington City School system and graduated high school, class of 1953. He continued his education and attended both St. John’s and Seton Hall University’s.

He was a licensed real estate broker and appraiser for more than 40 years specializing in commercial, industrial and residential appraisals and sales. Also, he performed farmland preservation, green acres and wetlands appraisals for city, county and state government agencies. As a member of the Appraisal Institute he served as president in 1992 and received the designation of MAI in 1993. He was a member and past officer of the Burlington Rotary Club and was a Rotarian for more than 25 years. He was a Mason and member of the Burlington Lodge #32, F.& A.M. Also, he was a former councilman in Burlington Township and active in politics. In his spare time Joe enjoyed traveling, gardening and was especially gifted in growing beautiful roses and tomatoes.

He enjoyed sailing and sailed competively as a Mariner sailor. He and his wife were members of the Brant Beach Yacht Club on Long Beach Island since 1988. Joe was a sports enthusiast and an avid fan of Notre Dame sports.
