Joseph L. Inman, age 93 of Clare, died Wednesday December 14, 2016 at Prestige Centre in Mt. Pleasant. The son of the late Charles and Frances (Latoski) Inman was born in Midland on May 12, 1923 and was raised and educated in Auburn. Joseph served in the United States Army/ Air Corp during World War II. On February 15, 1947 in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Fisherville, Joseph married the former Florence Funk. After 47 years of marriage she predeceased him on January 10, 1995. Joe was employed with the Dow Chemical Company for forty years; retiring as a foreman in 1982. Joe was an Amway distributor since 1963, enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, playing golf and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Midland Eagles Club and V.F.W.
Surviving is his son, Charles Inman of Montrose; daughters, Lori (Chuck) Capron of Ojai, California, Jackie (David) Janetski of Clare; sons in law, Gary Piegols of Freeland, Doug Wagener of Saginaw; grandchildren; Jeff Inman, Jason Inman, Linda Janetski, Sean Capron, Kyle Capron, Bryan Britton, Joe Janetski, Steve Janetski, Laura Janetski, Amanda Hacker and Lisa Catacosinos; many great grandchildren; brother, Clarence (Gladys) Inman of Auburn and his new family at Prestige Centre. In addition to his parents and wife, Joseph was preceded in death by daughters, Diana Piegols, Gloria Wagener and many brothers and sisters.
