Joseph Leroy Hyle, age 61, of Westminster, Maryland died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born April 24, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the Betty J. (Kemp) Hyle of Littlestown, PA, and the late Howard K. Hyle, Jr. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 36 years, Diana Lynn (Poole) Hyle.
Joe was a maintenance planner with McCormick Corporation for 34 years until his recent illness. He loved fishing, traveling to Las Vegas, and camping. He was an avid Ravens fan, and enjoyed his corvette.
Surviving him in addition to his wife and mother are daughters, Stacey N. Howey and husband Michael of Sykesville, and Terri L. Dotterer and husband Michael of Reisterstown; grandchildren, Ryan, Makayla, Nathan, and Amelia; brothers, Robert “Bobby” G. Hyle of Littlestown, PA, Howard K. Hyle, III and wife Joyce of Hanover, PA; sister, Barbara C. Merson of Littlestown, PA; godchildren, Kristina Gavin and Autumn Kochis; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and his family at McCormick.
