Joseph Kennedy Hayes, 58, of Worcester, formerly of Plymouth, died unexpectedly at his home on December 4th, 2020. Born in West Palm Beach, FL, he was the son of the late John Henry and Virginia C. (Corshia) Hayes. Joe was educated in Plymouth at the Plymouth-Carver High School. He had worked for most of his life as a Union Carpenter. He was an avid horseshoe player as well as hockey player. He enjoyed golfing with his family. He loved to cook, especially unusual dishes. He was always very curious and eager to learn something new. If ever anyone was in need, Joe was the one to call! He would always offer a helping hand whenever he was able. Besides leaving his wife Arlene M. (Pratt) Hayes of Kingston, he was the loving brother of Linda Sirrico and her husband Gerry of Plymouth, John H. Hayes, Jr. of Worcester and Plymouth, Ginger Hennessey of Boynton Beach, FL, Kathleen Hayes of Plymouth, Patricia Desroches of Plymouth, Michael Hayes and his wife Carol of Plymouth and Baca Raton, FL, Willard Hayes and his wife Cheryl of Plymouth, and Steven Hayes of Plymouth. He was step-father of Denise and Jeff Peterson of Kingston, Debbie and Michael Rankin of Plymouth, and Derek and Michelle Nickerson of Carver.
