McWilliamsJoseph McWilliams “Joey Mac” passed away suddenly on February 27, 2021 of Claymont, Delaware. Joe worked as a union painter, but you could always find him doing odd jobs and staying occupied because he truly was a hard worker. Joe always knew how to make you laugh, and you could not help but laugh with him because his laugh was so contagious. In his free time, Joe loved to listen to music and enjoyed sharing his favorite songs with his daughters. He loved spending time with his daughters and he especially loved to take pictures and document these times with them. Joe was a talented football player growing up playing for the SIRS football team in Southwest Philadelphia and continued to love sports as he grew older. He had the best stories to share of the different things him and his friends would do together. Joe had a great support system and a close-knit group he cared so much about, and he was always loyal and made sure to take care of his loved ones the best he could. Joe always made sure to talk about his mom to his daughters so she will always live on in their hearts as he will now. There are not enough words to describe how great of a loss this is to Joe’s loved of the late Mary Laurie.Survivors: Loving father of Carlie Lynn McWilliams and Lanie Marie McWilliams, and their mother Jeannie Halpin. Cherished brother of Robert (Doreen) McWilliams and Lisa (Thomas Leonetti, his nephews Nicholas and Dominic Leonetti).
