Joseph “Joey” Allen Moore, 53, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his parents’ home in Newnan after battling cancer for nearly 3 years.
He was born June 22, 1963 in Newnan to Jerry A. and Dura Hyatt Moore. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Alfred Moore, grandparents, Glenn and Ora Rogers Hyatt from Newnan, Rev. Alfred and Ruth Henderson Moore of Carrollton; uncles, Billy Moore of Newnan and Larry Hyatt of Lithia, FL.
He is survived by his son, Joshua “Josh” Allen Moore of Moreland; mother, Dura Hyatt Moore; brother, Dennis Moore (Delia) of Newnan; sister, Suzanne Patterson (Chris) of Carrollton; mother of Josh, Nancy Moore of Moreland; aunts, Mrs. Sandra Moore Horton (Wayne) of Carrollton, Vicki Hyatt of Lithia, FL; uncle, Eugene Moore (Pauline) of Roanoke, AL; great aunts, Mrs. Louvenia Moore Hall of Carrollton, and Mrs. Flora Rogers Newman of Mt. Pleasant, NC.; 4 nieces, 4 great-nieces, 5 nephews, and 2 great nephews and numerous cousins.
