Joseph O’Brien, age 82, of Pauline St., Milford, died at Bridgeport Manor on Tuesday, July 4, 2006. He was born on March 11, 1924, in Weymouth, MA, to the late William and Caroline Petipas O’Brien. Mr. O’Brien served in the US Navy, during WWII. He was part of the first wave to land on Omaha Beach, on D-Day 1944, and was decorated as a Purple Heart Recipient.
