Mahon1958~2021Joseph (Joe) Mahon III, a resident of Springfield Delaware County, PA, formerly a resident of Bucks County, passed away, after a valiant battle with cancer, on December 24, 2021. Joe was born in Philadelphia to Joseph and Barbara (nee McCole) Mahon Jr. Joe was a former sports journalist, city editor, and CEO of Zenith Products. He was a devout Villanova Basketball Fan that suffered a long stretch of mediocrity before finally winning two national championships in three years. Joe credits his loyalty to their success. He loved watching sports, drinking miller lite, golfing, watching movies/shows, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, and sibling, who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. He was looking forward to becoming a grandfather in February, but he rests peacefully knowing his legacy and name will live on. Predeceased by his brother Timothy Mahon; sister-in-law Patricia Puleo and brother-in-law John Cortese. Survived by his mother and father Joseph and Barbara Mahon Jr; his loving wife of 36 years, Enese, and his children, Joseph (Courtney) Mahon, and Jenny; his brothers Michael (Virginia) Mahon and John (Jen) Mahon; sisters Nancy (Carl) Courts and Susan (Frank) Vella; sister-in-laws Joanne (Joe) Battista and Joyce Cortese; and many nieces and nephews.
