Joseph “Jody” Henry Lewis, Jr., 49 of Newnan passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital from complications due to Covid-19. He was born August 28, 1971 in Newnan, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph “Sonny” Lewis Sr. He was Christian by Faith and baptized August 5, 1979 and was a member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church. Jody was known for his love of the Georgia Bulldogs, Go-Cart Racing, Nascar and Coon hunting. He is survived by his mother, Sandra Mills Lewis; brother, Brian (Sharon) Lewis; niece, Bethany Lewis and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Merritt, Jamie Arrington, Ty Thompson, Mike Mills, Mike Creel and Bubba Proctor.
