Joseph (Joe) H. Waldorff
Joseph (Joe) Hiram Waldorff, 78, of Crestview, Fla., passed away peacefully Monday, February 4, 2008, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born June 18, 1929, in Cypress, Fla., to Hiram and Viola Waldorff.
Upon graduating from Marianna (Florida) High School, Mr. Waldorff served four years in the U.S. Air Force.
Upon retirement, he and his wife moved to Crestview, Fla., to live the “country life,” where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling the United States.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jody Waldorff of Fort Walton Beach; and a brother, Maxi Waldorff of Evanston, Fla.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mary Ann of Crestview; sons, Eric “Rick” Waldorff of Fort Walton Beach, and Jeff Waldorff (Angelique) of Navarre, Fla.; daughters, Terri Lynne Arrington (Josh) of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Angela Horgan (Danny) of Fort Walton Beach; grandson, Nathan Waldorff of Navarre; sister, Aldis Brunson (Charlie) of Kentucky; brothers, Marlin Waldorff (Jean) of Tennessee, and Lloyd Waldorff (Sandy) of Fort Walton Beach; and sister-in-law, Alice Waldorff of Evanston, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He will be truly missed by his family, friends and his faithful companions, his dogs, Daisy and Sophie.
