Joseph H. McCabe, age 84, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015, at his home in Senoia surrounded by family. He was born May 31, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY to the late James McCabe and Nora Sheehan McCabe. Joseph was a wonderful father and a very giving man. He exemplified the core values of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. George Catholic Church and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. He served in the National Guard and was a master carpenter for most of his life. He retired 20 years ago.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary McCabe whom he met while taking history classes at Seton Hall University. In May of 2015 they would have been married for 59 years. He also leaves behind five children Eileen, James, Kevin, Timothy and Kelly. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
