Joseph H. “Sonny” Keeler, 74, of Bethlehem , passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 4, 2011 in his home. He was the husband of Evelyn M. (Rau) Keeler having celebrated 55 years of marriage this past June 16. Born in Fountain Hill, PA on March 10, 1937, he was the son of the late Harris Keeler and Agnes (Heidecker) Keeler-Yagielski.
Joe was a machine operator for 32 years for Knoll International retiring in 1999. He was a member of Trinity U.C.C. church in Bethlehem. Joe loved boating, camping, and traveling with the love of his life, Evelyn.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Evelyn, daughters, Debra Marushak of Bethlehem, JoAnne Burt of Allentown, Michelle wife of Jack Wieand of Alburtis, Sons, Joseph H. Keeler Jr. of Macungie and Robert S. Keeler of Bethlehem. He is also survived be grandchildren Thomas & Teri Marushak, Louie Sinwell, Ricky Koch, Justin and Emileigh Keeler, Jake, Jenna, and Jesse Wieand, Brianna and Bethany Keeler, Steve Barwick and John Yazierski, and 4 Great Grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by daughter Barbara Barwik who passed away in 1988.
