Joseph Giordano, 73, of Bethlehem, and Boynton Beach, FL., died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He was the loving husband of Maria (Farnese) Giordano for 52 years. Born in Forchia, Benevento, Italy, he was the son of the late Emiddio and Margherita (Meccariello) Giordano. He emigrated from Italy to the US at age 17. Joseph was a local entrepreneur, who was the founder and owner of the Pizza Village franchise in the Lehigh Valley. He was also a successful real estate investor. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. He had a passion for golf and belonged to the Tuscany Bay Golf Club in Florida. Joseph’s work ethic, generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to his family. He lived his life with strength and integrity. Survivors: wife, Maria, at home; son, the Honorable Emil Giordano, and his wife, Tina; daughter, Margaret Giordano, and her husband, Adriano Tesone, all of Hanover Twp.; son, Joseph Giordano, and his wife, Julia, of New York City; sisters, Gemma and Pupetta; brothers, Michele and his wife, Anna Maria, and Angelo and his wife, Elena, all of Italy; grandchildren, Victoria, Joseph, Caden and Charlotte. He was predeceased by his sister, Suor Angelica.
