Joseph Giacomazzi, age 99 of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Evelyn Giacomazzi, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Arizona. Born in Fairfield, the son of the late Pasquale and Margherita Giacomazzi, he had been a lifelong resident prior to his recent move to Arizona. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater where he received the Purple Heart and the Philippine Liberation Medal.
