Joseph Gerard DeLessio, 82, of Cumming, GA and formerly of Enfield, CT, died on January 27, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late John and Mary DeLessio. A veteran of the Korean War, Joe served in the US Army, 1824 Tank Co, 31st Infantry. Joe worked for many years at Food Fair as Deli Manager. He never met anyone he didn t like or couldn t talk to. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Louise DeLessio of Cumming, GA; daughters, Anne Marie (Phil) D Ambrosio of Alpharetta, GA and Paula (Andrew) Manning of Manchester, NH; sisters, Antionette (Joseph) Barbella of Brooklyn, NY and Carmela (Jerry) Florio of Florida; and much-loved grandchildren, Joseph Guenther, James Manning, Maria Manning, Katie (Anthony) Wolverton, Matthew D Ambrosio and great-grandson, Alexander Wolverton.
