Joseph Gerald Bayne, 50, of Bristol,

died Sunday, October 5, 2008,

at the Bristol Hospital

after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

 

Joseph was born January

6, 1958.  He was predeceased

by his parents, Angela (Vasile) Bayne and James Bayne.  Joseph leaves behind him a son, James Bayne

and a daughter, Shannon Bayne, both of Bristol.  He leaves a sister, Diane Bayne of Bristol,

and three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Carol Bayne of Barkhamsted,

Thomas and Mona Bayne of Floral City, Fla.,

William and Lisa Bayne of Bristol.  He leaves a stepmother, Betty-Ann Bayne of Bristol

and a stepsister, Tammy Hickey of Burlington.  He leaves two very special people in his

life, Tara Parker of Bristol

and Karen Bayne of Pawcatuck.  He leaves

a niece, Amber Bayne of Plainville

and three nephews, Jason and Cody Bayne of Bristol

and Jeremy Bayne of Plainville.  He also leaves a special uncle and aunt,

Donald and Carol Vasile of Bristol

along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Joseph was a carpenter by trade and worked for GDS Construction up until

his illness.  He was an avid sportsman,

hunter and fisherman.  He loved going to

the beach.  He loved the outdoors and had

a special feeling for his pets.
