Joseph Gall, Jr., age 91 of Fairfield, beloved husband of Reta Gall, passed away peacefully in his residence following a prolonged illness and surrounded by his loving family Sunday, January 6, 2014. Born in Fairfield on October 27, 1922, the son of the late Joseph and Bertha Gall, he had been a lifelong town resident. Mr. Gall served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
Joe was an active and dedicated resident of Fairfield. He served on the RTM, retired as a Captain for the Fairfield Special Police, was a Justice of the Peace, and also served as a Marshall for the State of Connecticut. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 9427 and the American Legion Post 74. In 2003.
