Joseph Gaglio, 86 died on Saturday Nov. 24, 2012 in the Belgrove Post Acute Care Center in Kearny.
Joseph was born in Kearny and was a life long resident. He worked in the Shade Tree Department for the Town of Kearny for 25 years. Joe served in the 1st Calvary of the U.S. Army from 1944 until 1946. He was the Past Commander of V.F.W. Post 1302, Kearny as well as the Past State Commander of the V.F.W. He was a member of the American Legion Post 99, Kearny as well as a member of the 1st Calvary Division Association and Marconi Fraternal Association.
Mr. Gaglio is survived by his niece Marie Miller and her husband Bob and their children Matthew John and Joey and his nephew Tom Scorsome and his wife Debbie and their children; sisters Yolanda Girdwood and Santina Eccles and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings Gerado, Mary, Fay and Lee and his companion of 30 years Genevieve (Elsie) Pamper. Special thanks to Caroline and Jessie.
