Besides his wife of 62 yrs, Phyllis, he is survived by his son, Robert James Collins (wife-Vickie), Yorktown; two grandchildren, Nick Collins, Muncie and Kristi Collins, Yorktown; one sister, Marcelline King, Alexandria; two brothers-in-law, Dale Prescott (wife-Evelyn), Union City, Indiana and Philip Prescott (wife- Bea), Winchester; one sister-in-law, Joyce Summers, Ft. Wayne.
