Mr. Joseph Frank Freeman, Jr., known to many as Frankie, passed away at Doctor’s Hospice in Fayetteville on May 26th after a long period of illness. He was born in Newnan on November 11, 1951 and was the son of the late Joseph Frank Freeman, Sr. and Katherine Lyle Freeman.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Darlene Dera Adams Freeman. He attended Newnan High School. He later served in The Georgia National Guard. Frank retired after a long career with Georgia Power. He is survived by his son, Jason Freeman; a sister, Cathy Freeman Phillips and her husband, Danny and his extended family of nieces and nephews.
