Joseph Ellis Woolley, devoted husband, father, and grandfather died unexpectedly at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on September 9, 2021. He was 49 years old. Born October 14, 1971, to the late Daniel (Danny) Woolley and Dorothy (Dottie) Turner Woolley. Joe was a lifelong resident of Newnan Georgia.

His surviving siblings include Craig Woolley, Chris Woolley (Kim), Jackie Woolley. He is predeceased by his sister Angie Woolley Lewis and father Danny. Joe, as he was known by friends and family, is survived by his wife Nicole Smith Woolley, eldest daughter Chelsie Smith and fiancé Scotty Mullins along with their children Aubrey Gray, Owen Mullins, and Michael Mullins, daughter Morgan Oneal, her husband Blake Oneal along with their child, Piper Oneal, and his youngest daughter Kylie Marie Woolley.

Joe graduated from Newnan High school in 1991. He began his career in the beverage industry at Buffalo Rock and finished at Coca-Cola United. Joe was known for his impeccable work ethic and natural tendency to meet new friends. Joe married Nikki in 1994 and spent the first part of their life together raising “their girls.” Joe and Nikki were blessed to find their faith home at Providence Baptist Church where they spent most of their free time spreading joy and kindness to fellow church goers. Joe became a deacon for the church and he and Nikki were passionate about serving the youth and chaperoning their mission trips. Joe was known for his deep love of family, total commitment to his church and sincere whole-hearted service to helping all those in need. But, he will always be remembered for his quick wit and total devotion for the Georgia Bulldogs….Go Dawgs!
