Joseph E. Miceli (Joe) passed away on November 9, 2015, at the age of 76, at his residence, The Masonic Home, in Burlington, NJ. He was born in Philadelphia on May 10, 1939.
He was raised in Edgewater Park, NJ, and graduated from Burlington High School. Beloved brother of Frances Piergross and Conni Simon. Devoted Dad to Ernie and Rochelle (deceased) Consorte. Uncle to Lisa Piergross, Toni Lynn Ervin (deceased), and Kim Harper. Great Uncle to Ashley Piergross, Joseph Ervin, and Kristen, and Robert Harper. Joe was a hard-working man all of his life. Most of his career was in the construction business. He was the owner/operator of J.E. Miceli Construction Co. Later, he became the owner of Friendly Self Storage in Florence and Glassboro. He served time in the United States Army from 1963-1965. Joe could light up a room with laughter. He will be remembered most for his big heart. He worked hard and played hard and will be greatly missed.
