Joseph Johnson 81, of O’Fallon, Illinois, was born September 20, 1934, in Washington, Indiana. passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Johnson was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Civil Air Service at the Scott Air Force Base Medical Center, as well as retired from Belleville Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Esther (nee Hill) Johnson, his brother Bob Johnson, and his son Joseph E. Johnson Jr.
Joe are survived by his wife of 60 years, Kay (nee Smith) Johnson, his six daughters, Pam (John) Risavy, Debbie Talbott, Jane (Jim) Corbier, Trish (Robert) Yawn, Brenda Johnson, Becky (Stan) Gonzalez, and daughter-in-law Liz Johnson, his ten grandchildren, Neil Talbott, Bobby (Jennifer) Yawn, Brianna Yawn, Emily Yawn, Meghen Lewis, Jamie Corbier, Lindsay Johnson, Alex Johnson, Brett Johnson, and Adam Gonzalez, his three great-grandchildren, Abby Talbott, Ben Hocher, and Aubree Yawn.
