Mr. Joseph Dwayne “Wayne” Whaley, age 61, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at his residence.
Wayne was born in Randolph County, Alabama on March 16th, 1961 to the late Jerry Whaley and Virginia Hester. He loved life and lived it the way he wanted. He was a hard working man who enjoyed going to the casino from time to time. He loved his family, especially Jolene.
Wayne is survived by his children, Emily Whaley, Jeffrey East, Chance Whaley, Jolene Whaley, and Hanna Lindsey; grandchildren, Jasmine Patton, Kameron King, Norei Flody, Jr., Trayvon Floyd, Lyric Floyd, Christopher Bunch, Damian East, Gracie East, and Case East; three great grandchildren with two more on the way; sisters, Sheila Hill and April Haynes (Chris); fiancée, Crystal Lindsey; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Tina Landreth.
