Joseph D. Reed, 90, Anderson, passed away October 21, 2008 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness. He was born September 18, 1918 in Muskegon, Michigan, and resided in Anderson most of his life. Joseph was a graduate of Anderson High School.
He served his country in the US Air Force. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1976 after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Campbell Reed; granddaughter, Jennifer & husband Chad Walls of Indianapolis; great grandson, Collin Walls and sister, Betty Jo Barkdull.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Gertrude Clark Reed; daughter, Deborah Collins; sisters, Evelyn Strough and Rosie Tobin and brother, Jim Reed.
