O’SHEAJoseph D., Age 73, of Wallingford, PA, and formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away on October 13, 2020.Survived by his beloved children: Elizabeth, Joseph (MaryBeth) and Catherine; his loving grandchildren: Kevin, Patrick, Sean, Kyla and Emily, and his dear sister Patricia Rossiter (Jack), along with many nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his precious parents Anna (nee Rhoades) and Joseph J. O’Shea, and his brother, Dennis.Joseph was a 1966 graduate of St. Thomas More High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a recipient of two Purple Hearts. Afterwards, he enjoyed his time as a machinist at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard where he worked for 25 years, up until its closing. He was a member of the Catholic War was always characterized as a quiet, kind and generous man, whose entire face lit up when he smiled. He was known for his love of sports, especially the Phillies.
