It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Joseph Carl Carter, of Peoria, Arizona on Friday September 23rd, 2022, at the age of 62.

Throughout his long battle with serious health issues this last couple of years, Joe never ceased to show his abundant courage in the face of major challenges with humor and with

an inspiring smile.

Joe was born October 27th,1959 to loving parents, William Paul Carter, Jr. and Eleanora Ruth Weber.

When Joe was younger, he loved hanging out with his cousins, trips to Mexico with family and friends. He looked forward to staying at the cabin in Strawberry, Arizona, in which he and his father spent their days remodeling and enhancing.

He also enjoyed spending the summer with his grandparents. These were beautiful memories he shared with me that he continued to cherish during the course of his life.

After a few years of traveling around the states, Joe made his way back home to Arizona where he was born and raised. For Joe Arizona was always a safe place to land and where he felt the most comfortable and where we shared our adventurous lives.

Our journey together of explorations began when Joe became a very ardent reader of historical facts, especially the traditions and cultures of Arizona.

Coaching and playing softball, singing karaoke, canoeing, quad riding, rock collecting, scuba diving and playing cards were also his favorite pastimes. Not to mention, watching his favorite sport teams, the Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Chargers

Being an ardent TV enthusiast, Joe always remained updated on our local state news and current world events. When it was time to just relax, Joe enjoyed watching his favorites tv shows, like ole school westerns, Perry Mason and his favorite reruns of Star Trek.

Joe owned his own business here in Arizona, JC Cabinets and Remodeling, where he was a master craftsman who enjoyed designing, constructing and installing cabinets for our customers, which we considered all of them to be our good friends.

He was also able to master any electrical work, plumbing, brick work and even landscaping when deemed necessary.

Joe is survived by his life partner Beth, as well as his siblings, brother Gary, sisters Kim and Paula. This also embraces Joe’s five children, his daughters, Amber, Misty, Gabriella, and his sons Richard and Jacob. His beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as several grandchildren.
