Joseph Lawrence Cardona, Jr. 68, of Oglesby, formerly of Chicago, passed away July 30, 2014 at Loyola Hospital in Maywood.
Mr. Cardona was born on May 27, 1946 in Gary, IN to Joseph and Bernice (Peebles) Cardona. He retired as carpenter. He married Nancy A. Gutowski on February 11, 1967 in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of Oglesby; one son, Joseph Lawrence, III (Tabitha); three daughters, Nancy Ann (Wes) of Oak Lawn, Dawnn (Anthony) of Lansing, and Laura (Ray) of Tinley Park; 10 grandchildren, Vince “Bubba, Timmy, Allie, Joey, Sydney “Nee Nee, Mairi, April, Baby Tabitha, Baby Anthony, and Joey IV; three brothers; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; Pallbearers will be Joseph Cardona III, Joey Cardona IV, Bubba Singer, Timmy Cardona, Joey Singer, and Baby Anthony Snelius.
