Joseph C. Rogers, 93, of Williamsport, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Aristacare at Loyalsock.
Born Nov. 29, 1924, in Williamsport, he was a son of Elijah and Margaret (O’Dea) Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June L. Rogers on Sept. 26, 2015, after 66 years of marriage; a son, Danny O’Dea Rogers; and a brother, Paul Francis Rogers.
Joe had worked for Williamsport Area School District for 22 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Joe was a life member of the LeRoy O. Buck VFW Post No. 7863 Duboistown, and a past VFW District No. 15 Commander. He was a member of F&AM Lodge No. 397.
He is survived by many close friends and his caregivers, John and Jenny Lannan, of South Williamsport.
