Joseph “Bud” Moreau Blakemore passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born in Steelville, Missouri to his beloved parents, Joseph M. and Florence A. Blakemore, the eldest of six children. In his early years, he lived in St. Louis, MO, attended grade school at Our Lady of Holy Cross, and graduated in 1955 from St. John the Baptist H.S.
He retired from St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City, Colorado.
He is survived by his brother, Robert (Leeann); niece, Blake; brother, Donald; Virginia (Patrick D.); nieces, Jane and Ann; nephews, Jeff and Jason; great-nieces and Kekoa; and a great-nephew, whom he adored.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Blakemore, and siblings, Mary (2007), Jane (2004), and Patrick (2022).
