Joseph J. ‘Bud’ Bishop, Jr. 73 of Hempfield Township, sunset on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his home.
Sun rise on July 16, 1940 in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of the late Matilda A. (McFeaters) and Joseph J. Bishop, Sr.
Bud was a life member of the North Hempfield Fire Department and an auxiliary member. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen (McManus) Bishop; sister, Joanne Cole; special niece, Weslie A. Baird; special daughter, Sarah Chen and family and also his beloved pets, J.W., Yum Yum, Alannah, Dakota, and Jazz.
Bud’s family would like to give a special thank you to his doctors for their care these last weeks, Dr. Robert Gerger, Dr. James Adisey, and Dr. George BouSamra.
