Joseph Blaze Schumann passed away peacefully Tuesday at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Joseph was born February 3, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served his county and retired as a TSgt. He was a long time resident of Fort Walton Beach and enjoyed fishing. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Nancy Schumann of Fort Walton Beach; three children, Michael Kaufman and Elizabeth Schumann both of Fort Walton Beach, Joann Zander and husband, Kurt, of Jamestown, NC; granddaughter, Clarissa Zander; grandson, Joseph Zander; brother, Raymond and wife, Dolly, of Pittsburgh, PA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, David Kaufman, sister, Mary Hackett and brother Jack Schumann.
