Joe B. Mock, 62, of Canon City passed away October 1, 2013. Joe was born November 24, 1950 in Canon City to Joseph and Margaret (Dryden) Mock. As a young adult, Joe was a cement finisher by trade, later became a stay at home Dad, and for the last 13 years was a water treatment operator for the City of Florence and was one of the “Water Dudes”. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing and arrowhead hunting. He had a great imagination and could fix about anything. He enjoyed life and instinctively knew how to make others laugh. He had many friends, several considering him their brother. Joe married Patricia Williams September 24, 1977 who survives. He is also survived by his children Joe (Hope) of China, Lindsey (Erica son/daughter in law) of Colorado Springs and Rocky of Florence. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Catherine Baumer.
