Joseph B. Tuccillo, 88, of Ridgefield, died peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021 surrounded by his family, when he was called home to be with the Lord. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Grandinetti) Tuccillo.
Born in Queens, NY on August 30, 1933, he was eldest son of the late Benjamin and Concetta Gertrude (LaBianca) Tuccillo, and brother of the late Anthony and John Tuccillo.
A Ridgefield resident since 1969; Mr. Tuccillo was a retired Commercial Artist having worked in Advertising for US Tobacco. He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Tuccillo was also an accomplished artist and model builder, avid fisherman and hunter, a former professional minor league baseball player, lover of all things Disney, former Ridgefield Little League Coach and Umpire, and a member of the Arizona Gunfighters. But most of all, he was a devoted Christian and Family Man.
Mr. Tuccillo is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann, and his daughters, Karen Lager and her husband, Keith; Joanne Bruno and her husband, Wayne; and Antoinette Leal. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren whom he adored: Morgan, Aaron, Jessica, Nery Joseph, Christian, and Nicholas; and 4 great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Tallon, Paisley, and Hayes; his nephew Charles Haas, nieces Marianne Oettinger and Claudia Haas, as well as many beloved family members and friends.
